INTERNATIONAL

The Fédération équestre internationale or FEI is the international governing body of the equestrian disciplines. Under its jurisdiction fall riding competitions such as dressage, show jumping and eventing; recognized by the IOC, it sees its disciplines represented at the Olympic Games.

The United States Equestrian Federation is the national governing body for most equestrian sports in the United States. It began on January 20, 1917, as the Association of American Horse Shows, later changed to the American Horse Shows Association.

US Competitions
ITALY

The Italian Equestrian Sports Federation was founded in Rome in 1926 and derives from the Società per il Cavallo Italiano. It is affiliated to the International Equestrian Federation by which it is recognized as the only representative of equestrian sports at the Olympic level for Italy.
